Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Wonara Labs Pvt Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India, governing your access to and use of the Zangout application ("App" or "Service").

BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Zangout. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
• You are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.
• If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a legal entity, you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.
• Age verification is performed programmatically at registration using your date of birth. If we discover you are under 18, your account will be immediately terminated and all associated data permanently deleted.

2. Account Registration and Security

To use the App, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information including your name, email address, username, and date of birth. You may also register using Google OAuth or Apple Sign-In.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us at support@zangout.app of any unauthorized use.

You may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban is strictly prohibited.

3. User Conduct & Community Standards

You agree to use Zangout only for lawful purposes. You must strictly adhere to the following rules:

• Harmful Content: No hate speech, discrimination, threats of violence, or adult/sexually explicit material of any kind.
• Zero Tolerance for CSAM: Any attempt to post Child Sexual Abuse Material will result in immediate termination, permanent device/IP bans, and mandatory reporting to law enforcement authorities.
• Harassment & Abuse: Do not harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten any other user.
• Intellectual Property: Do not post content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights.
• Technical Integrity: Unauthorized scraping, crawling, bots, reverse engineering, or exploiting security vulnerabilities is strictly prohibited.

4. Content Ownership and License

You retain full ownership of all content you create, post, or upload to the App ("User Content"), including posts, comments, plans, and profile information.

By posting User Content, you grant Wonara Labs Pvt Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

The App, branding, features, and original content are owned by Wonara Labs Pvt Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.

5. Plans Feature & Real-World Safety

The Plans feature allows you to organize and coordinate social meetups and events with other users. Zangout facilitates coordination between users but is NOT responsible for:

• The conduct, actions, or safety of any user during real-world meetups.
• Any injuries, damages, losses, or incidents that occur during in-person meetings arranged through the App.
• The accuracy of location information or venue details posted by users.
• Participation in real-world meetups arranged through Zangout is entirely at your own risk.

6. Membership Subscriptions

Zangout is free to download and use. No payment is required to create an account or access the core features of the App. All users start on the Basic tier at no cost.

Pro and Elite memberships are entirely optional paid upgrades that unlock higher limits and additional premium features (higher post character limits, extra explore slots, custom guest capacities, and premium badges).

All paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the billing period. Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled via your device settings or account billing portal.

7. Zang Coins and Referral Program

Zang Coins are a virtual, in-app reward point system. Coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for legal tender, and cannot be transferred outside the App.

Coins can be earned through genuine community actions (creating plans, participating in events, referrals) and can be redeemed for Pro/Elite membership access.

8. Direct Messaging and Group Chats

Zangout provides direct and group messaging features for event coordination and social communication. Users must not use Chat to send bulk unsolicited spam, harass other members, or solicit sensitive financial information.

9. Verification Programs

Student Verification enables student-rate access via student ID validation. Student ID images are permanently deleted immediately upon review.

Profile Verification checks government ID authenticity and performs live selfie facial comparison via AWS Rekognition. Verification is an identity check, not a personal endorsement or character guarantee.

10. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wonara Labs Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of user interactions, meetups, or user-generated content.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wonara Labs Pvt Ltd from any claims, damages, liabilities, and legal fees arising out of your violation of these Terms or any meetup you organize or attend.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
